Dervişoğlu's reaction to Erdoğan's 'budget': "He shouldn't avoid Parliament, he should present it himself."

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding the agenda at his party's group meeting.
Dervişoğlu began his speech by stating, "The Turkish Cypriot people must accept that the results of the elections held with their own free will have cemented the independence of the TRNC. The President of the TRNC is not an appointed governor; he is the head of state of an independent Turkish state elected through fair and free elections. Presenting the elections as a referendum between a federation and an independent state, and portraying the situation this way, is to appease the enemies and create a perception of defeat within Turkey."
Highlights from Dervişoğlu's speech are as follows:
" Let me repeat the historical truth that they have not read, that they have read but cannot understand, that they have understood but do not believe, so that they can learn that national self-confidence that is hanging by a thread. The Turkish Cypriot people have a state and its guarantor is the Republic of Turkey.
There's something interconnected between the gaps, the clothes, and the clothing. This truth is so deep-rooted and so powerful that it can't be changed by a single election, nor can anyone else have the power to change it. Those with a sense of state and morality know this and craft their discourse with this in mind.
"IT IS THE CLEAREST SUMMARY OF PALACE DECAY"However, this mentality, accustomed to using the concept of permanence like a coin in every medium, is so convinced that it will wash away and whitewash its dirtiest and darkest personal relationships with it that they do not refrain from making statements that go beyond the intended purpose when the bravado they sold as permanence and the benefits they have gained from now on are damaged.
Can you imagine what it's become? The person whose signature is on the money in our pockets is being arrested on corruption charges. From "English Mehmet" to the loyal son-in-law minister, and from there to the shining-eyed ministers, I'm talking about the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, one of the inventors of the currency-protected deposit system, which was praised endlessly during their appointments and caused Türkiye billions of dollars in losses. If this had happened anywhere else, governments and ministers would have resigned. What more is there, folks? No one is doing a thing. According to the investigation in question, serious irregularities were detected in the chip card purchase and troll software development tenders held at the Interbank Card Center, a subsidiary of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, causing our state millions of lira in losses. Let no one sneer; this is not a simple tender dispute or damage caused by a procedural error.
This issue is a management weakness born under the shadow of the Central Bank, which is considered and should be the most reliable institution of the state; it is the clearest summary of palace corruption.
TO ERDOĞAN: "I CALL YOU NOT TO RUN AWAY FROM THE TBMM"The poor nation's money is being spent on imports, loans, and then interest. This budget avoids lying. Because the 2026 figures bear no resemblance to reality. This is not the budget of the truth. Civil servants whose salaries have dwindled to nothing, and tenants who pay more than half their salaries on rent, are exhausted. The budget they've prepared is a budget of exhaustion.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the owner of the budget, should not act as he did in past years. I urge him not to run away from the Turkish Grand National Assembly. He should either defend his budget like a man or present it to the great nation himself. He should not blame the bureaucracy or the ministers .
